We only use it where it helps a licensed clinician, or where it gives a member practical support. Every decision about your care stays with a person. Not every part of TalkDoc uses it, and what is turned on differs from one kind of work to the next.
DRAFTING AND ORGANIZING
It can help a clinician draft notes, sum up information, or lay out a visit, in the places where we have turned that on.
SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS
It can offer private support inside certain account features, for members who are eligible. It is never a doctor of its own.
THE EVERYDAY WORK
It can help with scheduling, routing, and other work that is not clinical, with people watching over it.
Your doctor is still your doctor
The software supports the work. It does not do the deciding. The licensed clinician responsible for your care stays responsible for it, and nothing we build takes that place.

The private paths a member may be eligible for are built with narrower controls, and not every part of TalkDoc runs in a sealed one. We do not sell personal information for advertising. The details are written down on our security and privacy pages.

Californians who are eligible can check whether they are covered and meet a licensed clinician. The tools earn their place around that, not instead of it. Only a small group can use the private ones so far, and what is ready can change from one feature to the next.
