Here is everything TalkDoc can do for you today. Some of it is ready right now. Some of it we are still building, and we will always tell you which is which.
Plain words about what is ready
Ready means you can use it now, where you are eligible. Starting means only a few people have it yet while we learn. We would rather say so plainly than let you find out later.
TALKDOC CARE
Video psychiatry and therapy with licensed clinicians. Your appointments, your plan and your follow-up all sit in one place. Ready in California.
THE COMMUNITY
A free place to talk with people who understand, find practical help, and read what clinicians have to say. You do not have to use your real name. A person reads every post.
THE DIRECTORY
A list of clinicians who see Medicaid patients, so you can look by insurance, state, specialty and language. The list is young, so it is still a short one.

Care comes first
Most people start by finding out whether their plan covers them, or by joining the free community. Everything else we build sits around that care. None of it stands in for it.
Learn more ➝For health plans
TalkDoc Connect shows a partner health plan how its members are doing as a group: how many reach care, how often they come back, how much care they use. Totals only, and never anybody's conversations. We are turning it on with partner plans one at a time.
Notes for doctors
We are trying out a program that runs on a clinician's own computer. It listens to the visit and writes a first draft of the notes, right there on that machine. The clinician reads and fixes every word before any of it goes into a record. Only a few of our clinicians are using it so far.
Where it works
What is open to you still depends on where you live, which plan you carry, your account, how much room we have, and whether the technology reaches you. When something is not open to you yet, we will tell you.

Quiet help behind the work
We are testing private software that helps with a short list of tasks, and only a few people can use it while we do. It helps the people doing the work. It is not a doctor and it never takes the place of one. We write those limits down so you can hold us to them.
